1: whirling era: The verb used here is渦巻く(uzumaku) means "to whirl" or "curl" (like smoke), and the noun form 渦巻き (uzumaki) means "whirl" or "spiral". Just thought it was a good visual to have... ^^;
2: Eyes open: this was, literally, "and not close my eyes", but I changed it up to sound better in English
