Kimeru first broke into the music scene in 2001 with the single "You got game?", the first ending theme to the popular Japanese Anime 『テニスの王子様』 (Prince of Tennis).
Since then, he's been climbing his way to pop stardom, having multiple tours, releasing more songs, and performing in various musicals on stage.
His music is fast-paced, and has been likened to T.M.Revolution, though with a more pop-sound. His stage presences is energenic, wild, upbeat and fun, and
his voice is strong from start to finish. He really is a must-see live, and a must-buy for your music collection!
From Kimeru's random interviews and posting in his column, we've learned just a few things about Kimeru. Here are some cute bullets of information!
[x] Before he began his career in music, he used to be a Postman. He loves letters and correspondance, and thought this would be a great job for him!
[x] Kimeru -loves- talking during his live and involving his audience and band members in any way he can. Sometimes he talks so much, he forgets what he's talking
about! His most reoccuring topic, both live and in his columns: food! Kime loves his food!
[x] To go along with his food addiction, Kimeru takes really good care of his health. He actually goes along with his very own special diet he posted in his
column, which is to eat healthy and exercise often! He tried low-carb, but didn't feel it sustaining. He warned everyone in his column to take good care of
themselves! Everyone should take his advice!
[x] Kimeru, while answering some fan questions in his column, pointed out he wore shirts in size MEN "S" and WOMEN "M". He's quite tiny! (But in a healthy way!)
[x] Kimeru's first venture outside of Japan was a radio show airing in Taiwan.
[x] Kimeru likes to karaoke L'Arc~en~Ciel, Gackt, and Ayumi Hamasaki
[x] Kimeru's favorite colors are white, black, and silver
[x] Kimeru's first trip overseas was to China, after many fans convinced a company to have him come over and perform. Go Kimeru!!
